Super difficult nerd puzzle game

Every year at Easter, we organize a big puzzle game where you not only have to solve 60 brain teasers but can also win really great prizes.

The Easter Puzzle 2026

This year, the Easter Puzzle will look a bit different than usual – and we'd like to honestly explain why:
Our puzzle master Paul unfortunately has no time in 2026 for professional reasons to continue his exciting puzzle adventure story about Cthulhu and Unicorn and develop a complete puzzle. At the same time, rising costs and a new reality are posing challenges that many of you know firsthand: AI tools today solve in seconds what used to require hours or genuine expert knowledge – building a classic Easter puzzle that is AI-proof now requires enormous creative extra effort that we simply cannot afford this year.
Still, we didn't want to send you into the holidays without a puzzle. So in 2026, there will be a "best-of": a selection of questions from thirteen years of Easter puzzles – spiced up with a few never-published or completely new questions.
Perhaps a bit less variety than you're used to – but still a real puzzle with real prizes. We hope you'll have some fun and entertainment with it.

Also important: Without a puzzle master, we cannot provide proper support for the puzzle either. In the Disqus forum, you can help each other with problems – but please don't just post solutions there. (If we see that, those accounts will be disqualified).
For critical issues, you can send an email to nerdraetsel@proton.me. But please really only for serious things like bugs or crashes. Simple questions about the puzzle or other things we'll ignore there.

How to win

Every participant can win. You only need to answer a single question correctly and register to be in the prize pool!
Every additional correct answer gives you extra chances to win! So if you answer 8 questions correctly, you have 8 tickets in the pool, and so on. It's definitely worth continuing!

Puzzle games that get all your brain cells glowing.

What am I? I'm on everyone's lips, yet no one can eat me. I'm hard to crack, but I'm not a nut. In the morning I run on twelve legs, in the evening the grass is greener on the other side. Do you know the answer? Okay, we'll tell you: the getDigital nerd puzzle. Since we ourselves are passionate about playing nerdy games and giving cult gifts, we came up with something special: At Easter, we create a nerdy puzzle for you! Here you can not only test your knowledge about science, nerd and geek culture, and general knowledge, but also win great prizes like vouchers and items from our range.

Edward Nigma would be jealous of our brain teasers

Now you're probably thinking: "Oh cool, just read the text above the puzzle on other sites, copy the answer, and submit it." Far from it! When we say puzzle games, we don't mean trivial quiz questions, but difficult riddles that only real nerds can solve. How about the zodiac sign of Spock's cousin? Or the name of the elf who made Gandalf's shoelaces? Okay, the questions aren't quite that hard, but you definitely shouldn't underestimate the challenges.

Difficult puzzles are simply the best puzzles

Of course, everyone likes to win, but victory shouldn't come too easily. Our puzzle games achieve the balancing act between challenging yet manageable tasks. The package of questions includes over 50 individual tasks and can be solved piece by piece. After each question, you can enter your email address so you get a link sent to you to continue puzzling at this point later. If a question is too hard, you can skip it once. The question waits for you at the end of the puzzle, sort of as a final boss. ;) Of course, it's also possible to solve the entire puzzle in one go, but you should plan a few hours for that.

Prizes, prizes, prizes!

Puzzling and guessing is fun in itself, but when there's something to win, the motivation is usually even greater. Since we, as mentioned, pose pretty difficult puzzles and think it would be unfair if only the people who answer all questions correctly win something, you collect a ticket with every correct answer. One question equals one ticket, 14 questions equals 14 tickets. After the puzzle ends, the prizes are randomly drawn from all tickets. However, each participant can only win once, after which the name is removed from the prize pool. It's definitely worth investing some brain power and keeping an eye on our social media channels and newsletter so you don't miss a puzzle. We wish you good luck!
