Our Fair Geekwear Promise

All our designs marked with the Fair Geek Wear logo are printed on shirts made from fairly traded organic cotton and produced under fair working conditions.

This means that by purchasing, you're doing something good for the environment, cotton farmers, and factory workers (spinners, weavers, seamstresses) and their families, as well as for yourself. :)

• The T-shirts are made 100% from organic cotton produced in Asia and certified according to OEKOTEX Standard 100.
• This label certifies that all components of the T-shirt – fabric, prints, sewing thread, zippers, etc. – have been tested against an extensive list of potentially harmful chemicals and meet limits that exceed legal requirements. The textiles are thus proven to be free of harmful substances and skin-friendly.

• No child labor: Strengthened controls ensure that no children work in the factories.
• Fair working conditions: Every worker receives a minimum wage high enough to cover a family's living expenses without children having to contribute income. Maximum working time per day is eight hours with a maximum of 6 working days per week.
• Fair social benefits: Every worker is entitled to pension payments, social insurance, continued pay, and severance payments.
  Of course, workplace safety and hygiene are also ensured, for example, harmful chemicals are prohibited for workers.
