Gifts for kids, the nerds of the future
Even though we, as a responsible nerd shop, do not sell dangerous products, some things, especially technical gadgets, can cause harm in children's hands because of small parts that can be swallowed or batteries. Not every gift for men is suitable as a gift for little nerds, for example. That is why this page collects gifts for kids that curious youngsters can handle safely. Grown-up nerds like to wear our geek shirts, and given how fast children grow, a shirt like that will soon be a good gift idea for them too. Babies still do not have to crawl through their first adventures in boring off-the-peg rompers: besides nerdy rompers we have many other gifts for the little ones that new parents will like as well.
Start them young
From nursery age at the latest, it pays to match gifts to a child's interests and abilities. When the first real kids' room is being furnished, an iconic wall lamp will make the eyes of any child who loves comics and films light up. And when the bottle is swapped for a cup, it can be a nerdy mug instead of a plain ceramic one: Mario, the Avengers, Batman and co. bring joy to the breakfast table and make getting up early a little easier. If Lego has been banned from the kids' room after certain accidents involving parents' feet, a child-friendly product from our toys will make you very popular. Many of the kits are made of wood and can be assembled without tools. Kids have fun with them and train their spatial thinking along the way.
