Description: Video Games Teach English T-Shirt

Remarque

One of the biggest problems of many countries' school systems is the fact that most of the content being taught is not exactly the most interesting, right? Especially in countries where English is not the official language, students have to endure stories about schoolchildren and their talking pets before they are even allowed to glance at interesting stuff like Shakespeare or Edgar Allan Poe.

Not exactly motivating students to actively participate in class! The solution…? Well, we certainly focus on stuff that is interesting or fun - which makes videogames a perfect match!

No matter whether you got your hands on an imported version of the newest game, downloaded a pirated version from the internet (naughty!) or forgot to select your language while installing, you need to understand English to fully enjoy the game. From our own experience, we can say that Gordon Freeman, the Master Chief and Link have taught us more than all our English teachers combined! And if you take a look at the English level in Scandinavian countries where movies, games and TV series are only available in the original version, there's no denying the connection. (Okay, correlation does not always equal causality, but still...)

So, if you've had a similar experience with video games, you can show this with our Teaching English shirt, which, by the way, is also suitable for English teachers since you're only criticizing the system, not the person. Hate the game, not the player ;), right?
